Built in Precision ND Filters
URSA Mini Pro features high quality ND filters that let you quickly reduce the amount of light entering the camera. Designed to match the colorimetry and color science of the camera, the 2, 4 and 6 stop filters provide you with additional latitude even under harsh lighting. The IR filters have been designed to filter both optical wavelengths and IR wavelengths evenly to eliminate IR contamination of the images from which many ND filters can suffer. URSA Mini Pro ND filters are true optical filters with a precision mechanism that quickly moves them into place when the ND filter dial is turned. Filter settings can even be displayed as either an ND number, stop reduction or fraction on the LCD!
USB-C for Direct Recordingto External Disks
Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro features an innovative high speed USB-C Expansion Port. The 4.6K G2 model features USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 which operates at up to 5 Gb/s, while the new 12K model has a USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 for a blistering 10 Gb/s. You can connect and power external flash disks and SSDs or on URSA Mini Pro 12K you can connect the new URSA Mini Recorder for recording to fast NVMe SSD drives for longer recording times. NVMe SSD drives are ideal for shooting 12K in the highest constant quality 12-bit Blackmagic RAW in the Q0 setting or for high frame rates. When shooting is complete you can simply move the external disk to your computer and start editing from the same disk, eliminating file copying!
High Resolution Monitoring and Camera Control
The built in 4 inch fold out touchscreen on URSA Mini Pro is a bright, high resolution color display with a wide viewing angle that makes it perfect for monitoring and reviewing shots on set! The screen can also show you a "heads up display" overlay with critical information such as format, frame rate, iris, timecode, shutter angle, white balance, ISO and more. Plus you get a histogram, card recording status indicators and audio meters! You can show or hide the heads up display by simply swiping up or down. The fold out touchscreen also lets you use the incredible Blackmagic operating software so you get super fast access to every camera function, digital slate for metadata management and more!
Digital Slate for Fast Metadata Entry
URSA Mini Pro features a digital slate so you can quickly add metadata to any shot! Simply swipe left or right on the built in touchscreen to bring up the digital slate. If you start and stop recording the slate can automatically increment the take numbers so you don’t have to enter them manually for each shot! You can also set your reel numbers to increment automatically each time you format a card. Lens metadata is automatically populated or it can be entered manually, along with production specific information, technical information and more! All of the metadata is saved with the files for use in post production when editing and color correcting with software such as DaVinci Resolve!
Full Size, Durable Connections that Work with Standard Cables
URSA Mini Pro features multiple connections such as 12G-SDI out, LANC, balanced XLR audio with 48 volt phantom power, timecode in, reference input and a headphone connection. There’s also a 4 pin XLR DC output for powering accessories such as a viewfinder, and an HD-SDI output for monitoring. That means you can connect an SDI display for on set monitoring of images, with or without overlays that show critical information and camera status. There is also a 12 pin Hi-rose connector for controlling servo zoom lenses. URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 and URSA Mini Pro 12K both include a USB-C expansion port for recording to external disks, which on the 12K model is conveniently located on the rear of the camera.
Wireless Bluetooth Camera Control
If you're positioning the camera on the end of a jib or gimbal, you can get full control via Bluetooth from up to 30 feet away. You can download the Blackmagic Camera Control app for your iPad or use third party apps such as Bluetooth+ or trigger on your iOS and Android devices. There’s even a free developer SDK with sample code available from the Blackmagic Design developer website, so you can create your own remote camera control and digital slate solutions! REVEAL Color Science
ARRI’s discussions with filmmakers and careful review of the image pipeline have led to significant improvements in image quality and a faster, easier workflow. REVEAL Color Science is the collective name for a suite of new image processing steps used by ALEXA 35 internally and also available through leading third-party postproduction tools for ARRIRAW processing. It includes an improved debayering algorithm for cleaner compositing, a new color engine for more accurate color reproduction, a new wide gamut color space for faster grading, new LogC4 encoding to contain the increased dynamic range, and new LogC4 LUTs (Look Up Tables) for improved color fidelity.
While bringing out the best of the ALEXA 35’s new sensor, REVEAL Color Science is also backwards compatible. ARRIRAW footage captured by ALEXA LF and Mini LF cameras can be processed with REVEAL Color Science, gaining many of its advantages. This means that the ALEXA 35 and ARRI’s large-format cameras can be combined on set and can also share LogC4 LUTs in post.
Enhanced creative control
With its Super 35 4:3 native 4K sensor, ALEXA 35 can be used with a vast global inventory of existing lenses—modern and vintage, anamorphic and spherical, Super 35 and large format. Filmmakers wanting to shoot with ARRI cameras while having to fulfill 4K mandates now have an immeasurably broader lens choice.
ARRI Textures is a unique new feature that allows cinematographers to fundamentally alter the way in which the camera records images, should they wish to. Up until now, ALEXA cameras have been pre-programmed with a default texture that determines the amount and character of grain in the image, and the amount of contrast at different levels of detail, perceived by the viewer as sharpness. For the first time, ALEXA 35 provides the option to choose from a menu of ARRI Textures, much like selecting a film stock.
Easy operation and new accessory range
ALEXA 35 is the smallest fully-featured ARRI production camera ever, packing the features and processing power of a “larger” ALEXA into a Mini-sized body. Crews will be intuitively familiar with the camera’s simple menu structure; support for 1TB and 2TB Codex Compact Drives; and MVF-2 viewfinder, now with HDR. Fast and easy operation is assured through a new left-side display, Advanced Color Match, pre-recording capability, and a slew of usability improvements such as additional user buttons. A total of 19 recording formats, incorporating efficient in-camera down-sampling and anamorphic de-squeezing, allow productions to optimize data rate, resolution, and other parameters, based on their individual needs. Mixed reality and virtual productions will benefit from the camera’s ability to record lens metadata in all common standards and output real-time streaming metadata to ARRI’s Live Link Metadata Plug-in for Unreal Engine.
ARRI has crafted a new line of bespoke ALEXA 35 accessories that expand the camera’s capabilities and ensure maximum speed and versatility on set. Closely integrated electronic accessories offer additional power outputs or extended audio features. A complete new set of mechanical support items provides flexible options for any shooting situation, scaling quickly and easily from a small and lightweight setup to a full-blown production configuration.

The Xenarc 1569 series of 15.9” touchscreen displays is perhaps the most versatile and all-encompassing product in Xenarc Technologies’ line up of products. This 16:9 1000 NIT High Bright Touchscreen is IP67 and IK08 rated and includes an optically bonded capacitive touchscreen, making it ideal for any harsh industrial environment. The 15.6 inch touch panel is optically bonded to the LCD panel, eliminating the air gap between the two, increasing clarity, contrast, and durability. Further, because the 15.6" touchscreen display unit is water tight and air tight, ambient humidity will not affect the clarity or viewability because of the advanced optical bonding. The 1569GNH 15 inch touchscreen monitor outperforms all automotive grade panels with a wider operating temperature range of -30C ~ 85C (-22F ~ 185F) and uses an IPS panel (In-Plane-Switching), which provides a wider viewing angle, consistent and accurate colors from all viewing angles, clearer images, and stable response times. A high contrast ratio of 800:1 provides crisper images and vivid colors, even in direct sunlight.
The versatility of the 1569 series extends beyond its usability in many different environments. The 1569GNH can video interface through our proprietary 26 pin cable (HDMI, VGA, AV Inputs) as well as HDMI direct into the monitor. The 15.16 touchscreen display monitor comes with an HDMI output that allows you to chain up a few 1569 series 15.6" touchscreen monitors or output to other HDMI monitors. With the included waterproof cables, the 1569GNH is IP67 on all sides and angles. The casing of the 1569GNH is designed to be used as a stand-alone monitor as well as a panel mount monitor. 75mm x 75mm VESA standard mounting holes on the back further provide users with numerous mounting options. The IK08 rating makes the 1569GNH vandal resistant and shock resistant.
